Saravanan Sundarakrishnan is an American Board certified and licensed Orthotist and Prosthetist who knew from the very beginning of his training that he "was meant to do this." He received his Bachelor Degree of Science in Prosthetics & Orthotics from Maharashtra University for Health Sciences in Nashik, Maharashtra, India and completed his orthotic residency at the University of Michigan Orthotics and Prosthetics Center in Ann Arbor Michigan. Saravanan completed his prosthetic residency at Hanger Orthotics and Prosthetics in Boardman, Ohio. Working in U.S for the last 8 years, Saravanan has gained immense knowledge in treating patients with compassion for their prosthetic and orthotic needs. He has worked with the leading hospitals and manufacturers to provide a comprehensive solutions for patients.

Saravanan is the first clinician in Asia who is certified to fit HiFi interface sockets for prosthetic patients. He is certified to fit Microprocessor knees (C-leg, Rheo Knee, Power knee etc.), Myelectric upper extremity prosthesis (I-Limb, Be-Bionic Hand, Utah arm etc.), functional electrical stimulators (Walkaide system, Bioness etc.). He also specializes in comprehensive paediatric care that includes fitting patients with Dennis browne/dobbs bar, surestep for hypotonia, dynamic orthoses, SWASH brace, Cranial helmets, Boston design TLSO for scoliosis, TAOS ambulatory systems etc.

Saravanan is very passionate about giving the best quality product and customized solutions to patients as per their requirement. He has a special interest in applying new technologies and materials to bring a unique perspective to patient care.
